Does Marxism Support Decolonization? is a book of quotes and analysis from a Comanche author speaking to European and settler Marxists on how canonical Marxism does (and does not) apply to Decolonization.

This edition of books is risoprinted, which is a process that can leave some tiny printed scuff marks on some of the pages. These printing eccentricities do not obscure the text, but give some character to the pages.

Book description from author:

"As an Indigenous (Comanche) communist I come across several issues with settler Marxists when it comes to their understanding of our liberation, as colonized communities, on the North 'American' continent. Most settlers don’t understand or know the history of settler colonialism or basic material conditions of their own settler state. This lack of understanding of (their own) colonial history turns settler Marxists into class reductionists, where they see all oppression on the 'American' continent as a function of economics. Since most settlers are economic class reductionists, they don’t understand Decolonial theory. This lack of understanding could come, in part, from never having read the works of Indigenous or Black peoples. Thus, most settler Marxists are dismissive of Decolonial theory or the idea of Decolonization, then claim that the only way liberation would happen is to just overthrow capitalism, while pushing the contradictions of settler colonialism aside. One way they’re dismissive is to say that, 'if Lenin or Stalin were alive, they wouldn’t support Decolonization'.

"With this book, I intend to show that Lenin and Stalin would have (probably) supported Decolonization if they were alive in today’s era of mass information from the internet. Even though they did not hyperfocus on the material conditions and contradictions of the internal colonies (sovereign Indigenous Nations) within the United States, they still wrote enough to make a strong case that if they were alive today, they would advocate for Decolonization."
